I myself have vista and no problems but someone else may not find vista suitable. The software that they each run is one of the major differences most people would run into. Windows 98 is a much older system. Vista is the newest.DVD For Mac dvd to rip dvd AppleTV video ripper.
I have that problem too. It's really annoying. The iTunes music is meant only to work with Apple products, so unless you have a program that will convert the file, you can't use it. CDs work, but I usually find the song on YouTube, then go to listentoyoutube.com. You paste the YouTube link in and then can download the audio for free. You can use that file with Windows Movie Maker just fine. I've been using this site for several months and haven't had any problems as far as viruses or anything like that.
