How do I get the music off of my ipod onto my computer?

My ipod is synced to a different playlist on a different computer, but that computer broke and I lost all my music on it.
Is there a way for me to get the music off my ipod and onto my new computer?

yes there is i know for a fact that there is a program on www.download.com and it is called ipod backup i think and it will do what you want

if your trying to get music off of you ipod and put it onto your computer, i dont think you can do that. you can only put music onto it from a computer, not the other way around. i tried. but idk for sure. i'd do some research if i were you.

Don't auto sync because ipod can only sync with one computer itunes or the ipod files will be erased. itunes blocks this function since itunes is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that.
